GREASE with Georgia Louise Riley
Acting Lincs welcomed West End star and Grimsby Girl Georgia Louise Riley! Georgia covered vocals, choreo and gave her first hand knowledge on this iconic musical!
There was a superb energy in the room that included a whole range of abilities from Pros to those giving musical theatre a go for the very first time. We were so thrilled to see all our participants push themselves to leave the room more knowledgeable than when they arrived!
Mamma Mia with James Willoughby Moore
James who has starred in the West End production of Mamma Mia and Matilda transported us to the Greek Islands as he helped us to recreate two of the shows most iconic numbers: Dancing Queen & Waterloo! Our attendees had 1hr 20mins to work on vocals and choreography. There is never time to clean and polish in a Masterclass and it’s not about the end product. It’s about the performer pushing themselves and learning new techniques.
Les Miserables with Danny Colligan
Danny Colligan who played Feuilly and Marius in the West End and the UK & Ireland tour of Les Miserables took time out from his busy touring schedule to lead us in this West End Masterclass. Danny led us in two memorable numbers from the show, At The End of the Day and One Day More. From sitting down and learning the lyrics to getting up and performing it on a stage just a few hours later, this masterclass was a lesson in the stamina of West End performers.
